What inspired it
Written as a conversation with my own soul. The quiet pull to create, imagine, and build something honest never goes away - but it gets buried under expectations, fear, and the pressure to fit in. The repetition of 'Who am I?' is not confusion. It is awakening - the moment identity stops being inherited and starts being claimed. Written to close MAHA by asking the listener the same question it asks me: are you here just to fit in, or are you here to live beyond?
Production story
Written in A minor at 115 BPM, Live Beyond blends alt-pop, contemporary R&B, and old-school house elements - moving from quiet soul-searching into a groove-driven, anthemic finale. Produced and composed in collaboration with Maxwell Maynard, whose production brought the track's danceable energy to life. Mixed and mastered by Rhys Zacher for the instrumental version. Lead mixing by Yago Marques and mastered in Dolby Atmos by Luciano Vassão as an Apple Digital Master.
